Environmental Permitting and Compliance

Environmental permitting may present substantial challenges to project design and schedule, if not properly handled by experienced personnel. Our team possesses extensive experience with permitting for public infrastructure and private land development projects, coastal projects, wetlands, protected species and water quantity and quality issues. All required early evaluation in the project planning process to identify critical path elements that may affect the permitting requirements and schedules. We have worked with federal, state and local government agencies. In addition, we have strong understanding of local zoning and land development ordinances for site plan approval. At the municipal level, our experience includes NPDES stormwater permitting and program development (MS4 Phase I and II), support for determining Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) for impaired water bodies, and development of Basin Management Action Plans (BMAP).
